In 2014, catastrophic floods occurred in B&H. On that occasion, was not spared even marginalized and poor Roma community. Our association has carried out numerous humanitarian and other assistance to the flooded Roma communities. In cooperation with international organizations CARE INTERNATIONAL Balkans, Women's Empowerment Foundation, World Vision and our own resources we provided humanitarian assistance to the flooded Roma communities in Tuzla Canton and beyond and included more than 800 families. Our assistance was in the form of nutritional and hygiene packages, baby packages, animal feed, small home appliances, furniture and disinfectants.

The first women's Roma network in Bosnia and Herzegovina was formed at the initiative of the Women's Roma Association "Better Future" in Tuzla with the aim of improving the social status of the Roma national minority in Bosnia and Herzegovina with emphasis on Roma women in the fields of education, employment, housing, health and social protection. in line with the Strategy for Resolving Roma Issues adopted by the Council of Ministers of BiH in July 2005.

From the time of its founding with the support of various Donors and foundations, it supports women's Roma network in strengthening the capacity of network members, and through launching initiatives, lobbying activities and advocacy with the aim of increasing Roma participation in public and political life.

In co-operation with the Women's Roma Success Network, one month of women's Roma activism is traditionally performed every year, symbolically starting on the International Women's Day (March 8) and ending on the World Roma Day (April 8th).

Through the implementation of the "Month of Women's Roma Activism" campaign, we want to promote Roma people by means of media, but also by holding meetings, street actions, roundtables and other activities to the wider public about the problems of Roma women with whom they meet daily and to be active in resolving them.

Strengthening capacities and skills of young Roma in order to facilitate employment and create better living conditions. 25 young Roma have been trained through the implementation of an accredited education program enrolled in the Workbook (Foreign Language and Informatics Courses) in cooperation with the Tuzla Business Education Center and create positive examples for further motivating Roma for education through motivational training in cooperation with the Employment Service of Tuzla canton.

The aim of this project is to strengthen the role and increase the level of participation of Roma representatives in various bodies and decision-making processes in relation to the most important strategies, documents and public policies to improve the lives of Roma people, such as the National Action Plan, the Roma Committee in the Council of Ministers and many other. During the project will be organized also the processes of making so- local action plans, as experience so far shows that the best results in housing, employment, solving health care and education issues for the Roma population are achieved when actively involved those authorities with the highest level of ingestion and in direct contact with the Roma population. In addition to this segment, 8 small grants intended to address specific problems in Roma communities will again be awarded through the project.

Project goal:
The Women's Roma Network, with the support of the Coordination Organization (UZR better future), implemented a media campaign called "Where are the Roma on the upcoming census in BiH". The aim of the media campaign is to animate the Roma / Romani people to declare themselves on the population list in 2013 as members of this national minority. For the purposes of the campaign, we recorded TV spots and two radio jingl, and the total number of media outlets from Bosnia and Herzegovina that followed this campaign and published TV spot and radio jingl were 32 while we had 324 TV activities, web portals. The total number of eligible beneficiaries of the campaign, ie people and Roma communities benefiting from our activities, is 1,239 Roma households, ie 4,779 Roma / Romani women.
